This is the second time Jackson and I have seen this Great Horned Owl in our pine trees and we got some pictures!!!
I love just standing out there and watching him! (at least I think it's a him :)
Although it's really creepy when he turns his head to stare at you! Especially when you are looking at him through binoculars! =0
He was really big!
This one is kinda blurry, but you can see his feathers. (up above)
We are thinking about naming him Monticello (Monty for short) or Griffin. What do you think?
There might be an owl nest around our house, because Great Horned Owls nest in abandoned Hawk and Crow's nest. And we have both birds.
